Administrative Issues5.1 Will the consultant help me complete my project? The consultant can help you with the use of hardware or software, and give some clues as to how they would approach the problem but, they will not engage in doing your homework or task for you. 5.2 What do I do if the lab is scheduled to be open and it isn't?If the lab door is closed when the lab is normally open you are urged to: East Bank
West Bank
St. Paul
5.3 What if the lab is closing and I'm not done? The users of the public computer labs are expected to finish what they are doing 15 minutes before the lab closes. No exceptions will be made, for if the lab stays open for one person the consultant would need to let everyone stay. 5.4 What can I do if a consultant can't answer my question?First, if you need help with a certain software package try checking out a manual on
that software. Manuals are available for most of our software. A Drivers License or State I.D.
is required to checkout a manual. Manuals may not be taken from the computer lab.
If a manual is not available, inform the consultant so that one may be ordered.
5.5 I've been treated unfairly and asked to leave. Who can I talk to? East Bank
West Bank
St. Paul
